Comic Angry Bob @ Comic Con
Guess what?! We were at all 4 days of the New York Comic Con this weekend! Guess what else?! We saw the Angry Bob preform while we were there!!!
First off if you haven’t hear of Angry Bob you can see his bio HERE.
They had him near the kids area of Comic Con which confused me because his standup is definitely adult humor. This did aid some of his jokes to make them even funnier though! Since he was on the kids stage though the crowd was a little rough on him, hence me writing a whole blog post about it.
Hands down his act could have opened for Kevin Smith later that night. His jokes across the board had depth and humor. There was even one point where he almost had two straight guys get married the joke was so convincing!
Most of you that visit the site and/or this blog know I am not one to be a brown nose or kiss ass. You also know for me to write a blog post about it I must have enjoyed it more than most things or something must have really bothered me since I rarely sit down and write in here.
In this case it was a little of both. I thoroughly did enjoy his stand up, which he saw. The fact that Comic Con put him on the kids stage not only didn’t help his cause but I feel gave people the wrong light of him, which bothered me a lot.
Anyways, I just wanted to say that Angry Bob is a great act and anytime you have a chance to check him out I recommend it!
